Inspiration for this necklace comes from Yemenite bridal necklaces that were often made of numerousM’tamanet(octagonal cubes) and silver beads calledtoot(after the strawberry fruit). The total weight of the necklace could reach up to one kg.
The necklace is made out of octagonal beads and silver, strawberry-like cluster beads. The silver clusters were created using granulation; an old technique based on the use of tiny metal beads.
